There is so much to say, understand, and immerse o There is so much to say, understand, and immerse ourselves with when it come to God's love. So many of us have been taught that we are unlovable, and must somehow fix ourselves before we come to Him... That is so wrong; it is such a lie — He has done everything for us already. We only need to come to Him. But that is so hard when we believe we are unworthy or that He will reject us if we don't 'shape up'. God's love deserves more, and I am giving that to you tonight...some of it will feel repetitive, but remember that the Spirit tells us that "...It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you" (Philippians 3:1). We are used to human love that is sometimes transactional instead of unconditional; that sometimes fades; that always is twisted by the presence of sin... So many events are hard to understand...we want Go So many events are hard to understand...we want God to change things, or wish He would have changed them before the event, stopping what happened. We sometimes believe He doesn't care about us, or worse, He doesn't love us... Embracing His Sovereignty helps...we can remember that He sees the beginning and the end, we don't...it can be challenging to let His sovereign ways stretch our faith and trust...but we will absolutely benefit from this growth! COUNTING THE OMER Day 23 — God is Sovereign You are not outside His care. You are not beyond His reach. Even what you do not understand is not outside His rule. The King is not distant.
