5 Tests for “Is This God?” – Test 5
Test #5: Does the leading glorify God?
Ultimately, every good deed, every “work”, every thought-empowered by the Holy Spirit- will eventually bring glory to God. Look at how the following truths work together:
The relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is like a perfect, unbroken circle of love and glory.
- The Father sends the Spirit (John 14:26) in Jesus’ name to guide, teach, and remind believers of everything Jesus has said. The Spirit does not speak on His own; His mission is to make Jesus known.
- The Spirit glorifies Jesus by taking what belongs to Him—His truth, His words, His work—and declaring it to us (John 16:14). In doing so, He draws hearts to worship Christ.
- Jesus glorifies the Father (John 17:1) in everything He does, and the Father, in turn, glorifies the Son. Their glory is shared, never separate.
In this way, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work in perfect unity:
- The Father sends the Spirit.
- The Spirit points to the Son.
- The Son glorifies the Father.
It is a divine flow of honor, love, and truth—each person of the Trinity working together to bring us into their life-giving fellowship.

The voice of the Lord will always follow this beautiful cycle!
