ABOUT THE PAPER AND INK

I currently use a print service for Giclee prints.  Your Giclee fine art print is printed on Somerset Velvet paper using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival inks.  Your prints will be light-fast, water-fast and age-resistant (prints are said to last up to 100 years)!  Please allow an estimated 5 business days before your print ships to you.

**Giclee Print – What does this mean?
Giclee is another term you may often read in descriptions of fine art archival prints made with pigmented inks. The word “Giclee” (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. This kind of print is made on a large, professional inkjet printer specially designed for making fine art prints with no visible dot screen pattern. This means that the image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting.
